I have had the stripper clip removed from one of my military Mauser 98 actions and the action has been drilled and tapped. Because I used a Leupold 9988 base which has only one screw at the rear, my base is coming loose constantly. Does anyone know where there is, or who makes, a base for the 98 action with two screwws at front and rear. I've used Locktite or whatever most call thread-lock but it still comes loose. The rifle is a 25-06 and the scope is a Bushnell 3200 5X-15, rounds are 120gners.
