I've owned 2 Encore rifles and both would shoot under 1MOA. The .223 I own at the moment will shoot under 0.5 MOA with Black Hills ammo.
The NEF guns are fine, but fit and finish and general overall quality is significantly better on the T/C guns.
Also, you can't just buy another bbl for the NEF guns. You have to send them back to the factory to have them fitted. After that, you can swap them yourself, but for every new bbl it takes a trip to the factory for the rifle.
T/C bbls are drop-in parts.
Of course, a T/C Encore will run you over $500, an NEF can be had for around $180 if you shop around.
BTW, I intentionally haven't made any negative comments about the NEF guns. There's nothing wrong with them, but if you look at the price difference, you should have a very good idea of the difference in overall quality.
