I have a parts weapon (VZ 24 Rifle, SN# 51722) marked on both the barrel and receiver. No other markings except a faint 33 on the underside of the barrel right where it mates to the receiver. No grind offs/ bolt has no markings. I was given this by a relative. It was in a horrible sporter configuration. The stock is crude wood and it has a symbol on the muzzle end of the stock that really reminds me of Japanese Armory Marks. (Attaching pics. The weird thing is the barrel is 21 & 1/8 inches. It does not appear to be cut. Bottom line, based on the strange barrel length, I’m not sure what I have. Any ideas? Thanks!!!
Barrel was measured with a rod from boltface to muzzle.
