The title pretty much says it all. Wondering if anyone purchased a set of the fancy wood from Henry Repeating Arms, and if so, do you have a pic of it?

My 44mag Henrey Carbine came with a very nice looking stock. I tried to keep it looking nice but when you carry one in the woods stuff happens. Not on purpose but stuff just happens so I have a couple of dings now...

I wanna do an X-model in wood but I wanna go do the all weather wood. I don't think they do any of the all weathers with a pistol grip stock which I like more than a straight stock

I considered purchasing a set, I would love a nice figured walnut with a nice glossy clear coat on my 45-70. The off the rack Henry is certainly beautiful, but definitely not as finely figured as the upgraded stock sets. The Henry fit and finish and wood to reciever/barrel-stock/forend fitment is excellent....

I remember when I was working at a gun store 20+ years ago, a man came in with his friends and wanted a Henry .22 rifle. This was shortly after they first came out. We ordered it for him. When it came in, it had very nice wood with excellent figure. Nicer than the pics shown above. We called him and told him it was in. He came with his friends a few days later. One of his friends fell in love with the rifle, and he said sell it to him and order him another. I said don't let this one go as the next one will not be near as nice. He said sell it to his friend anyway. I was right. The one we ordered for him, while it had nice wood, was not near as nice as the first rifle.

Is that a frontier threaded? I've never seen them with a silver receiver before just black

Aside from the heresy of suppressing a lever gun, whats wrong with it?
The lever won't close all the way, it no longer functions.

Leverguns make great suppressor hosts, especially with that long barrel and a peep sight. It's a near-silent squirrel killer......or was.

The silver receiver cover came off my Evil Roy model, which also needs to go back to the mothership. I just haven't felt like dealing with swapping the parts back or shipping them, because I'm not going to keep them anyway.

Yikes!

All this to say...I would kind of like fancy wood on my Small Game rifle.
