I traded in my beautiful Browning BLR in 308 for a brand new Henry Long Ranger 308. My mistake!!
I've tried 7 different kinds of factory ammunition and can't find anything that will come anywhere close to a 3" group.

Does anyone have a lead on what ammunition this thing likes??? It's not as pretty as the Browning and doesn't come close to being accurate.

I put a mid-line Bushnell 3x9x40 scope on it to see how it shoots with full intentions of buying a much better Leupold once I determined if the gun warranted a better scope. So far....it appear that the Bushnell is all it's earned.
I keep seeing You Tube videos of guys shooting tiny groups with one....how are they doing it?? What ammo are they using?

Wow. That’s brutal.

Henry is supposed to have an accuracy guarantee. After seven brands I’m thinking it would be taking a trip back to them. Obviously first do the normal things. Eliminate the scope and mounts, check tension on the action screws if that could be a factor

Start eliminating the variables........Ammo to start....scope.....gun in that order. No offense intended but let someone else shoot the gun. It may not fit you etc.
