Anybody got a new Henry revolver that would like to comment on here? They look to be built very sturdy.

I have only looked at the pictures and read a couple of gun magazine puff pieces about it. Not for me mainly because it seems to offer nothing new or improved over Smith or Ruger, doesn't appeal to me aesthetically and, while Henry is innovative, this one just doesn't rock my boat, especially at near a grand.
My 19, 686, SP, or Security Six will do just fine. I like !y Henry Single shot.

A Henry revolver...news to me! Looks a little Ruger Service Sixish; sort of a pedestrian, ho-hum design. I'm not really crazy about the grip shape either. Be interesting to see how it compares to current S&W/Ruger/Colt offerings.

I kinda doubt Ill ever see one at a local shop behind the glass. Seems like nobody wants to stock new revolvers these days- specia l orders and transfers mostly, it seems. :(
we just passed an “Assault Weapon” ban here. So everyone is buying & Stocking less dangerous 10mm Autos, .44 & .357 revolvers, 12 Gauge with 10rd tubes. I’ve seen tons of new revolvers on the shelves here.

From reading your posts, I think
you're in revolver heaven with that LGS of yours. BTW, my state just banned "assault weapon" sales too & registration for pre ban ones but I'm not seeing many new revolvers in the cases. Sometimes nice older revolvers on consignment/estate guns though.

good luck!, people have a hard time understanding the anti-gun issues we have in our states. We pretty much already got regeneration. Now just waiting for the community organizers to go door to door and confiscate!

I am reminded of a line in Bobby Bare's song about Marie Lavoe, the bayou witch, when I see one. "Too dam ugly for me".
I think they look good! but I also perfer the look of Colts over stiff collard Smith’s

OK, I have not seen these yet so had to look them up.

I kinda like it. Has that NEF/H&R with a little old school Charter Arms look to it. Kinda wish they would have gone with a break top (hard for something like 357 mag) offering but these are pretty classic looking. Be nice if they offered a version with adjustable sights. If they can handle full power 357 they are interesting. Nobody likes a fragile Magnum revolver. Id be SHOCKED if they were as strong as a Security six. Henry doesnt put out a whole lot of junk though. Their 9mm carbine looks pretty interesting as well. Looks like a BAR mixed with a camp 9.

I don’t know what regeneration means Re: guns, but it doesn’t sound good.
