In reference to this thread I am putting my unused gear where my mouth is. And I invite you all along.

I have five (5) holsters I do not need that I am willing to sell off at crazy low prices provided the buyer also send along funds to THR and a pro-gun lobby/outreach group of their choice.

If you also have holsters or other gear you are willing to do this with just use this thread instead of starting a new one. Maybe we can prevail upon the mods for a sticky and make this a permanent fund raising scheme.

Yes, the person could send the seller all the money and have the seller donate it to THR and X-cause but that is not really in the spirit of the thing. I would like the buyer to write out three small checks or MOs and then mail them all off at the same time by his own hand.

So the format will be $X to the seller, X to THR, and X to the cause.

Here they are:

All hosters little used and not abused, in other words they are in good shape.

High Noon Undertaker shoulder holster (right hand) for the Berreta Px4. Cost to me? Who cares? For you $12 to me, $12 to THR and $10 to the general cause.

Comp-tac settable cant deluxe (right hand) for the Px4. $12-12-10.

Comp-tac settable cant deluxe (right hand) for the Sig P220. Note: this one is missing the allen wrench needed to adjust the cant $10-10-8.

Comp-tac C-Tac for the Sig P220 also missing the allen wrench. $10-10-8.

Replica leather chest holster for the 1911, stamped US, well made but I've never used it so I don't know how it wears. SOLD!

There you go, these are great prices. I win, you win, THR wins, and the cause wins. That is win-win-win-win usually capitalism is just win-win. This process is twice as....er...... win-full.

Thank you,

Warren

P.S. I forgot to include a bit for shipping, my bad. The prices remain the same. I mention this so that others don't forget.

It just has one strap, the man who makes them makes WW2 replica stuff.

It also has a loop on the bottom to secure it to a belt.

Neat idea. Nothing listed that I need at the moment, and I continue to donate to THR anyway. Heck of a price on that undertaker though, I almost want to consider it even without owning a px4 for trade goods. Still, I truly commend you for what you're trying to do :)

How can you be sure that you don't sell to some unscrupulous individual that claims to send checks to all three parties, but in fact only paid you, and got off with your holster for next-to-nothing?

I trust THR-ers and everything, but if there's a way to screw someone out of a buck, someone will try it.

I'm going on the honor system here. There is no reasonable way to know (short of asking to see a picture of the check or MO) if money has been sent off to a group but maybe Derek or some other soul keep track of what has been sold vs. what has been sent to THR.

But this really isn't about enforcment. If people want to cheat I cannot stop them, still though I am getting the stuff out of my house so that is one win at least.

One way maybe would be too limit the sales to senior members. But that would prevent the strapped for cash newbie who really needs a holster from getting one.

I am usually the most cynical person in the room but I am setting that aside, putting on the happy glasses and seeing the world in a different way than I normally do. Which in itself might be a win.

Alright, envelopes are in the mail to go out tomorrow. $8 to Warren, $10 to THR, and $10 to TSRAPAC.

I could do what?

Thanks again Warren for the holster and getting $20 to THR and TSRA.
