I haven't really had any trouble finding .223 in stock recently. Now finding it as a reasonable price is another story. I don't know that I'll be paying $0.45 for steel case Russian any time soon.

Prices started moderating a few weeks ago and I was seeing .223 steel for $.30 a round which is about pre-panic prices for the 20 round box. Academy had quite a bit when I was there two weeks ago and they said it had been sitting all day. Of course you can only buy one box at a time which is about 30 seconds of shooting.

I can still get $.60 per round for quality, brass-cased .223 ammo.

It's plentiful around here, but still a little on the high end (as far as I'm concerned) at $.45/round (for brass ammo).

It is becoming more available near me as well. And at about .50 cents a round for brass. Our local sportsmans had a few thousand round cases for 499.00
