Greetings Central Floridians! As part of an initiative to do good things in the spirit of "26 Acts" to commemorate the lives of victims in Connecticut, a forum member has volunteered to teach the requisite class for Florida CWP at cost. What is lacking are a location and students wanting their concealed weapons permit. Please help a fellow member by volunteering and help everyone you know by getting them educated at a great price.

Where in Central Florida? I just moved to Tampa and am looking for a good range myself. Ocala National Forest range is public and free... bit far, though, depending on where you are?

I'd be interested in volunteering in some way...

Cool Skylerbone, found this by accident looking to see what happened on an old thread. I live near Orlando but I shoot out in Eustis, Orlando, and few other places. I don't live out near Ocala but if enough folks got organized (six folks wanting to do the class) I could spend the gas. I'd just need to cover the costs of the packets, won't ask for any money for my gas. And I'll see about having the minimum rounds in .22lr (got at least 10k rounds from 2008 sitting around doing nothing). Let me know.
