Hey all. If Keyhole is up for it, maybe we could all get together at his range somtime when the weather is better. Maybe early spring. We could turn it into an anual get together if enough folks are intrested. Where exactly are you located Keyhole? This would give folks time to save for the trip, or plan for it.

The range is located between Ft. Scott & Pittsburg, off of US69. As long as I don't have to work, and not out of town, it'll be a go. Always looking for a excuse to do some shooting, like I need one anyway!

South Wichita sounding off here. If there's gonna be a big shindig then I would be more than willing to make the drive. As it happens, I just got on to make a post that I'm headed up to the Cheney lake public range this Friday(the 21st). Rain or snow, I will be there and at least one of my friends (she wants to shoot the rifle I gave her for christmas, go figure 
)

Alright guys, if anybody in Kansas is interested in meeting at Cheney's public range this Fri (the 21st), I need to know. The range opens at 8am and shuts down at 5pm. It is a "sanitary" range so paper targets only, there is no cost to use the facilities though they do ask that you try to police your own brass. I plan to arrive and start punching paper at about 9 o'clock. I'll be bringing at least one mosin, one sks, a.45 and a 22. Not sure how long I will stay but it will probably be about 3 or 4 when I pack up. If you need info contact me, if you need directions contact me, if you have questions contact me. Email me if you have questions, I am working at the pool right now and will get home about 8:30 or 9.

I'm only 100 mi N of KC, so I could also make the drive to Pittsburgh. I only work Mon - Wed, so I'll prolly be avail for a spring fling.
I drive a 4 hr rd trip most Friday's to shoot about 2.5 minutes of IPSC in Overland Park, so a trip to Pittsburg is that much of a stretch for me.
(I only live 5 mi N of the KS/NE line...so do I count as "KS"???)

Yes it is, located 5 miles north of Arma, so it's between Pittsburg, & Ft. Scott. Only 15 minutes north of my house, so close for me.

In Wichita myself....will probably be close to Pittsburg a few times this year...though only at Neodesha visiting my grandparents. Wichita is home for me, even though I've been away from home for 20yrs...just recently moved back. I don't even know where any ranges are to shoot around here...I know there is a indoor pistol range up the street from my parents house.

No problem there, had guys with 50's shoot, but just have 200 yard though.
Maybe sometime next month? If it warms up a bit!

Have relative in Wichita who belongs to the Air Capitol gun club, and shoots there. Outside range, and fairly close I believe.

I can probably make it on any weekend except for the following. 18-20 March (drill weekend--hopefully shooting--for free ), 25-27 March (Easter weekend), 1-3 Apr (big gun show in Tulsa--Wanemacher's--Could be a good get together in Tulsa ), 15-17 Apr (Military Ball), 22-24 Apr (drill weekend--hopefully shooting--for free 
). Other than that just have to check with the better half.
