I've been in the market for a 22, mostly for informal paper punching. I've looked at both Ruger Mark II's and Buckmark models. I really like the KMK512 stainless bull barrel 5.5" Ruger, but would really prefer, if possible, something that held more than 10 + 1 rounds. Then it dawned on me that most if not all the 22 pistols I've looked at only hold 10(+1) rounds. I'd like something more like my Glock 19, that holds 15+1 or even more since those 22s are little buggers.

Any suggestions to a high capacity 22 rimfire handgun?

Well aside from tracking down a Calico I don't think you have many options. I think there were some aftermarket 12 rounders years ago but I am not sure. I seem to remember that the pistols were somehow not condusive to reliable feeding with anything over 10 or 12 rounds. I am not positive but I somehow remember this from many years ago.

Chris

100 rounds enough capacity for you? :D

Calico is still making guns, if you want one. I have HEARD that (of guns made in the past) they are not-hardly target-grade weapons however. I never owned one so I don't know for myself. Just that the 2-3 people I know who have shot them were less-than-impressed with the accuracy.
And really with a gun that changes weight so much being really accurate would be difficult at best anyway.

The only high-cap rimfire pistols I can recall are the Calico and the Grendel, but the Grendel was 22 mag, not LR.

But really, 10+1 is a lot of shots.
Real target-grade 22 pistols (that is, ISSF-style) only hold 5 shots!

Ram-line made 14 round magazines for the Ruger MkII before the ban. The one I have feeds all 14 reliably, though some have different luck. Not sure if they are making them again, but I don't see why they wouldn't.
