Hi Point 9mm Carbine

The whole assembly that holds the front sight on the barrel of my Hi-point Carbine has become loose. There is a strange kind of screw on that underside of it that tightens it to the barrell. What is the name of the tool that is used to tighten it?

probably an Allen Wrench. You should have received a couple of allen wrenches and a flat wrench with two hex shaped holes a screw driver on one end and a tool to release the trigger lock on the other. These tools are all you need to disassemble or adjust the rifle

Thanks gentlemen! Sometimes being a gun owner and non-mechaincal can be a trial. Same thing with my other hobby, motorcycling.

* the screw in front of the trigger guard: 3/32" allen wrench
* front sight set screws: 5/64" allen wrench
* front sight bolt: 1/4" ?
* rear sight screws: 3/32” allen wrench
* 1/4” wrench
* 5/16” wrench (2)
* 7/16” wrench
* 1/16” pin punch
* 3/32” pin punch
* 1/8” pin punch
* semi-large non-marring punch
* Ball pein hammer
* Hockey pucks for bench blocks
