Bought a couple Hi Point C9s over a decade ago. Never shot them more than a few rounds each. The ramp is part of the fixed barrel on this model. It is also very rough and coated (powder coated?) the same as the barrel. Clearly not a refined job. Surely the ramp can be smoothed. Between the bad ramp angle and it being fixed and rough enough to dig in to a bullet, they need work and I have heard the horror stories of lotsa jams.
I saw a sticky article about ramps being screwed up with a dremel so is there another / better way to clean the ramp?
