Hi and thanks in advance for help
On a late-70's era Browning Hi Power, to varying degrees with different ammo, the hammer ocasionally drops down to the half-cocked position after cycling a new round into the chamber.
I was told by the person who sold it to me that some "work" had been done to it.
What condition causes this behavior in a Hi Power? Is it a dangerous ehavior pattern that might cause unintended double taps?
Regards
Lee
