I've been shooting for over 40 years.
My "little girl" can outshoot me.
Girls are great shooters.
You know why men and women shoot in different catagories?
Men are afraid. Even Chuck Norris.

Thank you everyone for saying Hi. Well you want to know a little about me. I live in Scranton Pa and have for 34 years. I am single and looking for a guy who knows how to have fun. I enjoy shooting, hiking and racing trucks. I have a cabin that I go to just to have a little fun. And Mr Williams you want a Root beer well you can grab me a beer. And bring it to me thanks. LOL Well I hope to have a lot of fun on here. And make alot of friends. Thank you again.

So you already enjoy shooting. What are you shooting? I've been to Scranton many times (enough to know they have a great pizza place, Andy's, if you ride to Peckville) Do they have many local ranges? I've never seen one on my visits there.

No I don't know any places in Pa to shoot. That is why I am trying to move. There is not much to do in Pa. I want to move to a fun place. LOL

there are lots of places to shoot...

Well, there's the public range in Archbald. It's on Salem road (exit 4 off the Casey highway). It's about a 10 minute drive from the center of Scranton. It's got pistol, rifle (up to 200yds) and a trap area.

There is the Factoryville sportsmans club on rt.6 going towards Tunkhannock. It's $100 per year. Their range facility is real nice.

There are also public ranges in Honesdale and Gouldsboro.

There is tons to do in PA.

Yeah, don't give up on Scranton. My mother's side of the family is from there and I've always loved it. Nicest and most REAL people too. One of the sights I'm considering for retirement is a house on Lake WP if I can swing it.

I've lived in NYC, PHX and DEN and I'd take Scranton over them all (not Scranton itself but that entire area).

:)

You came to the right place--I think the M:F ration here is about 347:1. With qualifications like yours, and a discrete photo of your firearm collection, you might have more fun than you expected. (I, however, am a perfect gentleman and would never presume.)

Welcome.

Turn down the fire, boys. Ya'll need to get out of the reloading room a bit more. Interesting ploy on the part of 'ol scrantonbabe, there... a pretty original twist on friendfinders indeed.

"I have a cabin where I go to have a little fun..." Geez, someone will probably actually fall for it. ;)

My sentiments exactly OldSchooler.

Geez... is this The High Road or Pop's Malt Shoppe...?

Well I would like to say I was not useing a pick up line on anyone. Someone ask about me so I was tell them. I have just got into the shooting thing again. I just was telling where I go to have fun. "And I don't mean to get laid" So sorry if you thought I was trying a pickup line.

Don't worry about it - your not the one messing with the THR image .

Come on guys ! All your wishful thinking ain't gonna make the lady sweet on ya , or cover up the awful smell of hops and old pervert - stop teasing the nice lady ! :neener: (at least until she gets used to us :p )

Went to Bishop Hannan and then North Pocono HS in Moscow. Just went back last year for my 30th reunion. Scranton sure has changed. We lived in Mt Cobb very close to one of the gravity railroad beds. We used to hike back in them woods all the time. When I went back I took another walk out there. You can still find RR spikes and such along the bed. There's current Mt Cobb resident here on THR now and then. He invited me out at the same time and we shot a BUNCH of good guns he had. I was just mentioning somewhere how I did flood relief work during the Agnes flood of '73 in Wilkes Barre. You probably don't remember that. :D

Welcome aboard!

Hey, you cant blame a guy for thinking such things. This is the modern day, you know. Plenty in the news about on-line scams, "dating services", rip-off artists, etc. No harm intended and my apologies if any was done.:)

Just what we need, another 1911 shooter.

I feel your pain ! On the other hand , the bright side is that after having the other two , she did decide to get a gun ! :D
