I had completely forgotten about Matthias Tubals. His collaboration with Herman S. Inthewal (Senior) did result in that quirky rounded slug only model. It's failure really was the death knell for Tubals' career in the gun industry.

In case the OP was making a serious request for info, he might try dry brushing the rust off with an old toothbrush, to discern any writing on the barrels or receiver. After that, applying a light gun oil may reveal some.

Otherwise, it's probably a toss up between H&H and all the previous suggestions.

Wait, maybe it's a Yadurn Legpuler Special.

Perhaps a clue is hidden in plain sight, in where it was found.
Could it be this was a gun used by the infamous "Hole In The Wall Gang"?
Maybe it even belonged to Butch or Sundance themselves.

GM - come on now - let me correct your supposition:

Butch was known for carrying a sawed-off shotgun at times. As I heard from his uncle (Bubba), it was a special model made by Herman S. Inthewal (Senior).

Few folks remember, but Herman's middle name was "Shorty". He designed a shotgun that could be easily carried on a very short mule, without dragging on the ground. Short mules were very cheap back then, and maybe all that was available in Bolivia.

Hi guys, sorry I haven't gotten any more info for you. My friend who owns the shotgun hasn't gotten around to sending me a better pic or telling me about the markings. Thanks for all your help, I'll research it more using all your info.

Only one poster was sharp enough to notice it is a sidelock. This could possibly indicate one of the better makes. It certainly eliminates the possibility of it being a cheap a$$ box lock.
