Saw a guy at the trap range tonight with a rib on his gun that was about 4" high. That is the rib was at least 4" above the barrel.
When he shot it he never put his cheek on the stock, held his head straight up with the butt of the gun on his shoulder, but his head didn't touch it.
Looked strange but he shot well. About 21 or 22. Beat me.
Anyone ever see something like this before?
I didn't get to talk to him, so I have no idea why he likes this configuration. Of course, I guess it works for him.
