I am trying to locate a schematic drawing for a High Standard HD Military Pistol in 22 caliber. Does anyone know how to obtain one. The component drawings don't help as much as a schematic which I am looking for.

Thanks for the links to the drawings. The component drawing for the HD Military is good but what I want is more like the drawings you posted for the more modern Victor model. They( HD) are quite different having an exposed hammer and fixed but still removable barrel on the HD. I really like the exploded or schematic drawings vs the component parts which don't show much of how the parts are positioned for assembly as you pointed out.

Well, I think you are probably SOL.

Back in the 1950's, that's the way they drew schematics & parts drawings.

The more recent ones with the almost 3-D drawings had not been invented yet back then by most firearms companies.

And since then, there has been no need to do it for the HD-Military, since that High Standard company went out of business, and the HD Model has been out of production for going on 60 years.

rcmodel I think you are right. I have searched high and low with no success. They did make the schematic for the HB which predates the HD and it is very similar to the HD except for no trigger over travel adjustment screw, drift adjustable sights, and one minor detail that excapes me right now. I have been using that one but I would like one for each. For as popular as the HD was am perplexed at the lack of such a drawing.
