are all the cylinders on the high standard longhorn interchangable with other longhorn revolvers. i have a longhorn "convertible" with a 22 mag cylinder. i would like to find a 22lr cylinder to fit it. theoretically could i safely take a 22lr cylinder from any longhorn and insert it in mine and would it shoot properly. thanks bill

In general, cylinders are fitted to the gun. This does not necessarily mean that an aftermarket cylinder will not work well, they sometimes do.

It would not hurt to read the revolver checkout sticky at the top of this forum and check the operation of the gun with any cylinder you get. It also wouldn't hurt to check its operation with the cylinder you already have.

Your revolver might be slightly more accurate with .22 Mags than with .22 LR. The bores of .22 convertible models are generally sized for the slightly larger magnum bullet.
