High success rate hunts.?

You could hunt squirrels in Southeastern Ohio on Wayne National forest. There are both gray and fox squirrels which are plentiful and pressure is light, limit is 6 per day with a 5 month long season. You would probably have the woods to yourself on a weekday, and there are miles and miles of legal ATV trails to facilitate access. This could be combined with stripped bass fishing in the RC Byrd lock and dam tail waters on the Ohio River, or Muskellunge fishing just across the KY border on Tygarts Creek near Carter Caves or on the Little Sandy River. If you do consider the tri-state area, eating at Hillbilly hotdogs is also a must see destination.

I've been thinking about black bear/walleye combo too

I can help on the Walleye front Walleye is easy peasy for me to locate. Black bear I'd have to head an hour or two north for a guaranteed kill.

Just finished corn planting about 9pm this evening. We're hoping to get the predicted rain tonight. We're all ready for a break.

How'd you do up in Alaska, Caribou?

I do quite well, hunting/fishing/gathering/crafting here in the Arctic, as a living , although I will point out that most all of Alaska ('Cept Los Anchorage's downtown) is hunt/fishable.....and there is Moose, even in downtown Anchorage.....

You cant go wrong visiting Alaska AF, even if your not hunting.
Wasilla is a small, semi urban town thats literally at the base of the Alaska Range and all its opportunity's.
