Hillary: "We're going to take things away from you on behalf of the common good"

Sometimes we all need to just get out of her way and let her keep talking. Man, what a great quote! I hope there's a good tape of this that can be played non-stop right up until election day. They could play it while interposing it with scenes of Warren Beatty and Diane Keaton from the movie "Reds." :D I can just hear that heavy Russian anthem, with all the Bolsheviks cheering on Trotsky, Lenin, and Hillary.

We're going to take things away from you on behalf of the common good."
Excellent! "...and to each, according to his need." :barf:

I'm quite sure that Hitlery had guns in mind when she spoke of "taking things away from you on behalf of the common good."

How about your SUVs?

Or your favorite tax breaks?

Or your Christian holidays?

I imagine this list could go on and on.

VOTE AGAINST ALL Democrats

VOTE FOR BUSH!

So what? At least she is up front about it.

There are plenty of so-called conservatives who think exactly the same way she does. They just won't admit it. We didn't get to where the bottom 50% of tax "filers" pay 4% of the federal income taxes with just liberals supporting the transfer of wealth. From each according to his ability to each according to his needs.

The "unearned income credit" theft has been going on for what, 30 years now? Welcome to the United Socialist States of America.

Common Good.

Social Contract.

Civic Duty.

All three are warm n' fuzzy sounding and appeal to many but they are empty of value.

All three are used to con people into giving up their freedom to the government.

Anyone who uses one of these phrases wants to enslave you in some manner.

"We're going to take things away from you on behalf of the common good."

"The idea that 'the public interest' supersedes private interests and rights can have but one meaning: that the interests and rights of some individuals take precedence over the interests and rights of others."
--Ayn Rand

Well, she's being honest and at least we know where she's coming from. I'm glad that she's outed herself as to what her true intentions are and those of the Democratic party; a party that is being deserted in droves by common sense, reasonable minded people and being replaced by Uber leftists like Hillary and John Kerry.

Holy moly! I thought the author of this thread was just being a smartass and paraphrasing for Mrs. Clinton. I can't believe she actually said that.
Why does it surprise you? She’s a collectivist, after all.

It's always interesting to see pols give speeches in front of the die hards. The 'moderate' BS is stripped away. They tend to say what they REALLY think at these events. Funny they sometimes don't realize that their comments are reported to the outside world.

This collectivist statement could come back to haunt the Hillary! creature.

I am really surprised at the folks expressing that "I'm glad she finally showed her true colors," "Democrats want to take your stuff and buy votes," etc. Were you asleep all these years?

Were you asleep all these years?
Not at all, but some of the folks I've talked to and tried to convince that Hillary is a committed socialist, often respond with "Oh, that's an exaggeration! You right wingers...tsk, tsk, tsk." It's not as though her well known leftist leanings aren't widely published.

Her recent comment isn't as good as finding out she has signed photo's from Mao, Pol Pot, and Karl Marx, but for now, I say let's work with what we've got.

I've read in more than 1 place that Hillary! -- maybe in college? -- was tinkering with a truly socialist idea where the government bureaucracy would select your career for you. Anyone know anything about this?

Hillary: "We're going to take things away from you on behalf of the common good"

She's lying; they've been taking things away from us for years. Her statement, in order to be true, should have been "We're going to take more things away from you on behalf of all the dead-bead, worthless morons who are nothing but fetid pustules on the body of humanity."

The only differance between her and Karl Marx is that Marx is the better looking of the two...
OH Come ON! She's not that bad looking of a woman. Why I'd....

Uhhhhhh - nevermind.
Let's just say that what I was thinking involved Hillary wearing kneepads.

The end-game of the liberal Democrat -- as described in the decades-old song 'I'd Love to Change the World' by Ten Years After:

"...Everywhere is freaks and hairies
Dykes and fairies, tell me where is sanity
Tax the rich, feed the poor
Till there are no rich no more ..."

Notice that it says "..till there ain't no rich no more..", not "til there ain't no poor no more." It's all about punishing the successful.

Also notice that this is the song used in the commercial for Michael Moore's new movie.

Hmmmmmmm.

During her college years, she was greatly influenced by a professor who was a staunch Marxist (no secret-widely reported). A great read on both her and her skank of a husband is "Boy Clinton," by Emmett Tyrell (of the American Spectator).

In Tyrell's book, he describes both Bill and Hill (and others of their ilk) as "coat and tie radicals." He discusses the leftists and campus radicals of the sixties, and what their career goals were. Some never left college campuses, choosing to stay on after their degrees were earned. From there, they could continue to influence American academia and political thought with their socialist leanings. Then there were the coat and tie radicals, who would get cleaned up and mainstream themselves into more respectable positions, e.g. taking either a corporate or government jobs (State Department, for example). Both were undeniably successful in doing so. :barf:

I really wish all these socialist ninnies would go push their collectivist agendas in a country that wasn't built on the opposite principal. After all, it doesn't make a lot of sense to be pushing for high taxes in a land where excessive taxation was the catalyst that started it's founding revolution.

Here is somthing really scary about Hillary. While vacationing with my wifes Aunt and Uncle among others this past week her Aunt, daughter of hard working immigrants, retired, spends lots of time vounteering for her church, intelligent and usually very perceptive woman expressed the opuion that Hillary would make a good President. While people here are singing to the choir there are a lot of folks out there who are totally bedazled. Just look at her senate election results. Chuck
