I have a bunch of that Russian "green stuff". I bought 6000 rounds of it years ago for $99.00. It is sub sonic and very accurate in several of my rifles. The steel cases may choke in some rifles. Works great for a quiet backyard pest control round and the cases just rust away after a short time.

LOL.....

I also hit the jackpot, sort of.

I am currently out of the country, and my wife had gone to a gun show to try out some holsters. So she sends me an email saying she found me some 22lr. Im like :D

till she sends me what she picked up... Ive been shooting for close to 40yrs and never seen the green stuff. so I was  then :eek::banghead::banghead:when she told me how much she paid for this loot....:fire: Needless to say the only one who hit the jackpot was the dealer....

Yea, watch that green stuff if it sits for a while. It gave me a few squibs that could have been bad news

^Ill shoot it of my single six.... No sence in agrivating myself with a semi..

We loaded some of that green steel case Russian stuff up in magazines for my friend's Ruger MKII once. While we were loading other magazines, the MKII mags let loose and sprayed Russian ammo everywhere. I figured they must have had a small case size that was a little too loose to stay in the magazine.

:D No, your Ruger just threw up at the thought of shooting that Russian green stuff. It deserves and wants better quality ammo  :neener:

I have such a mental picture of that! :)

Ordered 500rds of remington thunderbolt from Cabelas for 28.99 it'll be here by wed. I have to add that while I've always bought some stuff from Cabelas I thought their prices were average at best but now they beat the crap out of most places on ammo prices.
