I was up in Michigan over the weekend doing a little shooting. I got to talking to the Range Officer about guns and reloading. He asked me if I needed any brass. Of course who am I to say no. He loaded me up and said if you run short let him know. Major score.

First photo is bag full of brass. Second is a batch I ran thru my wet tumbler yesterday. Cleaned up really nice.

They will get reloaded. I have 2500 bullets and 4 lbs of powder waiting to be used. I'm sure that will put a good dent in them.

This weekend I actually went to a public range instead of the desert for the first time in months to do some shooting and look for brass. We are only allowed to pick up brass in front of the bench you are shooting from. With the first target change I found some 357mag cases in front of my bench, and when all done, I picked up around 150 of them. I should be able to start working up more 357mag loads now since I just about doubled my 357mag brass inventory.

Nice haul! Free components...hard to beat that!

A few days ago my boss asked if I wanted his brass. "Of course!"
He brought in a bin with 688 pieces of once fired 223, a handful of 9mm, and a couple handfuls of 40s&w.
Made my day!
