I was a little unsure how to vote, but ultimately I said the 2nd Amendment should trump State laws.

Seeing the poll results, I was surprised how well the voting was going.

That is a horribly designed poll. Not all of the options are mutually exclusive.

The constitution and Bill of Rights affirms unalienable rights. States' rights don't trump the right to free speech, a speedy trial, or due process. Why should they trump the second amendment just because New York doesn't like it?
