hk 91 build weld question

Hey all, I am looking at buying an hk 91 that still needs welding. The flat has been bent, and everything fits on it as is, just needs welding before use. Where would one go about finding where are the proper weld locations? and how much weld? I have a friend that has built numerous AK's, from flat to shooting, so am considering hav him do the welding for me. He tells me I need to find out where to put it, and how much. Any help?
