Under Seige. Tommy Lee Jones carries a P7 (M8?) during the takeover of the USS Missouri BB-63. Of course, that movie also had MP-5s, M-16A2s, and 16" 50s:D , among others. Can anyone think of any other movies in which any variation of the P7 (PSP, M8, M13) was carried? I'm considering buying an M8 off a friend, but it would involve my RRA Entry Tactical moving out:(

Yeah Tommy Lee Jones also carried a P-7 in another movie where he was the leader of a merry band of crooks.
He also kept a Model 28 Smith stashed in the undercarriage of his Dodge in that one.

two of them in Mr and Mrs Smith

And I see them in movies pretty often, actually, and it is how I discovered what they were.

Curious, does the purchase hinge on weather this model is in films?

Of course! I only buy 9mm handguns that can throw a man back 50 feet!:D
I consider myself an avid "military movie" buff, certain firearms I see give me that "I need it now" feeling. M4 (Entry Tactical)=Tears of the sun. AR15A1=Honestly, due to Rambo: First Blood. I take what I see in movies as worth a grain of salt, however, I believe I find myself inspired by them. Though I wish I could take over an Iowa class battleship more than having a similar P7:cool:

The other Tommy Lee Jones movie where he used a P7 was Black Moon Rising. It is a decent 80's action movie.

Never seen this one mentioned

James Bond, Tomorrow Never Comes, Dr Kaufman, an assassin, uses a P7, at least 'till Bond takes it from him and uses it.

The head villain from that film, actor Jonathan Pryce, uses one in a movie that came out around the same time - Ronin. Interesting in a "seven degrees of the p7" kind of way.

In the TV show the Shield, there was an episode (second season IIRC) where Vic and the crew went down to Mexico to abduct a criminal. When they got there, they tried to procure guns from a local, and he used a P7 to rob them of their money.

Not a movie but there is a episode of Sledgehammer TV show from the 1980's where an inspector from scotland yard shows up to arrest a counterfitter and he is packing a P7

In die hard part one the bad guy also has a stainless p-7,
IN responce to erik f. That was an hk usp. One of the other mexican's that are robbing them has a glock and another has ruger p89-p90.

The show ALIAS starring Jennifer Garner had a Stainless P7 in a episode along with almost every other HK, SIG and GLOCK AUTO ever made.

STEVERACER, I also liked the BRAngelina scene with double fisted GLOCK 18's in MR. & MRS. SMITH

The Adventures of Ford Fairlane

Villian Wayne Newton shoot Priscilla Presley with a P7M8

Die Hard Wanted Dead or Alive

Hans Gruber(Die Hard 1988) the main bad guy had a nickeled HK P-7 9mmNATO. So did Rutger Hauer's bounty hunter good guy in Wanted Dead or Alive. www.imdb.com

If I think of any more I'll post em.

Don't even hesitate--get the P7M8---you won't regret it!

Hans Gruber (Alan Rickman) did not use a 9MM P7 in Diehard. It was the smaller HK P7 K3, most likely in .380.

Christopher Walkin used a stainless P7 to end Dennis Hoppers 'interesting' view on his family ancestory in, one of my favorite films, 'True Romance'

That is one of the most intense scenes in moviedom.

"I've got egg on my face"

How could you tell?

The dimensions of the gun are smaller than the P7 PSP or M8. Watch the movie with that in mind. BTW, Alan Rickman was one of the best, bad guys.

Hans Gruber uses a P7 M13 in Die Hard. Look on the DVD when Hans goes to the roof to check the explosives. When he rests the P7 on a ledge, you can clearly see the wide grip of the M13 and you can read HK P7 M13 on the grip if you zoom in.
