No. The 9mm breech face will not accomidate a .40/.357 casing. Plus, the slide mass of virtually all 9mm pistols is designed to handle 9mm level recoil. Increasing recoil to .40/357 levels requires additional slide mass, otherwise the cycling velocity would be too great which results in excessive beating on parts and leads to premature breaking of parts.
Just curious if you have shot a SK in .357sig or .40S&W. Due to the weight of the pistol, smaller grip size, and reduced slide mass it isn't all that comfortable to shoot. Then of course it also has a reduced service life because of reduced slide mass to make it really short. Subcompact pistols are usually much better in 9mm using 147gr loads for better handling, increased pistol life, and reduced pistol dimensions.
