HK SP5 Pistol

I just purchased a new HK SP5 and I’d like to install a red dot optic. Based on what I’ve been reading, co-witness with the stock iron sights would be ideal. Any suggestions on rail and optic?
Also, the gun came with a single point bungee sling. Any suggestions on a replacement? The bungee doesn’t do much for stability when aiming.

Little late. But I don’t think you’ll find a sight to absolute cowitness. Unless it’s a rmr on a shoe low mount. I have a Samson claw mount on mine and I’ve ran MRO, eotech and aimpoint acro on mine. I’ve reverted back to straight irons.
