Yes, I have seen well used ones go for $900 so $300-$500 more for a brand new one would be relaistic. I would love for them to bring it back.

I doubt it. I paid $300 for mine in 1983. It was a used German police trade-in. It came (9mm) with a cool brown leather,spring release trigger lock holster. When everyone else on the security department carried S&W revolvers or 9mm, I was the only one who even KNEW, let alone carried,anHKP9S.
