Okay, get this. A buddy of mine scored a slightly used USP Compact (by slightly used I mean probably only a couple hundred rounds through it) for all of a hundred dollars. Chambered in .357 Sig.
Well, okay, a hundred dollars plus the trade of an expensive mountain bike frame, and it was a trade with a friend of his. Regardless, he made out like a bandit and now has a nice little pistol. I've shot this piece and it's a decent shooter.
So...questions, then.
-Good holsters: What kind of holsters do you like for your USP compacts?
-Light: He's leaning towards getting a Surefire adapter and a regular light. Is the HK UTL a better option?
-.40? Some .357 Sig pistols can be converted to .40 by simply swapping out the barrel. Is this true of the USP compact? He asks mainly because .40 ammo is generally a lot cheaper than .357 Sig, and is easier to find. Can you rechamber the USPC with a barrel swap, and if so, where do you get the barrel?
Thanks everyone!
