A work-friend has offered to sell me his HK USP Compact .40 I believe it is a V1. DA/SA trigger, left side safety no decock. One mag (10 rd.), no box, pretty good shape. Price is $450.

    Here's my hangups.

I dont really care for a DA/SA trigger anymore. And I always have my Inox 92 on standby if I ever get the itch.

40 just doesnt do it for me. Ive owned and shot them before but Im more of a 9 guy.

Do you guys think its worth picking up? Maybe shooting a few IDPA matches and kicking down the road later on? Is it a good price?

Yeah I'd snatch it up. If I find a deal like that, same gun but 45 acp it'll be mine in a heartbeat.
