Did HK ever make an extended mag for the USP 45? I know others have designed an extended mag with the military in mind like SIG, Beretta and Glock anthough the latter was designed with a machine pistol in mind. Im just curious, but it would be neet to have a FACTORY extended mag for the USP. Not that it is needed mind you, 13 ACPs are alot, but I would find it hard to believe a pistol designed for military/LE community wouldnt have some sort of extra hi-capacity mag available. Anyone?

I do remember a thread on another board that mentioned +2 mag extensions, but they were never mass produced & as I recall they did affect reliability.

The one in the above pic is 9 X 19.

I haven't heard of any extended .45 USP mags.

On another note, what's the deal with 13 round non-LEO .45 USP mags. Did they make any preban .45 USP mags? I just saw some at a gun show ($100 each) but didn't think any had been made. I think it is/was HK forum that bans any sale of these.

Sweet pic winstonsmith!

I knew someone would pull somthing out of the air! Thanks for the replies. I do believe there were pre-ban 45 USP mags made. However I did here of some sort of "post-ban" scandle with USP 45 mags, whether or not they were mismarked, smuggled or otherwise is beyond me!:p

The USP 45 was released after the mag ban so THEORETICALLY there are no 'pre-ban' hi-caps available.

BUT! I have seen non 'leo only' hi-caps in person... I'm guessing they came from outside of the US.
