I'm trying to find the weight for the HK USP series. 9mm, .40. and .45. Compact and full size.

My first thought: HK website.

They only list one weight (they don't say if it's loaded or unloaded), and it's in pounds. I need it in oz (converting from pounds to oz isn't that much of a problem), and both the loaded and unloaded weights.

I tried HKpro, world.guns, remtek, and a couple other sites and can't find anything.

Does anyone know where I might find the information I seek?

Edit: No one would happen to know the weight of the trigger pull in pounds, would they?

The USP 40 is 1.74 pounds with an empty mag while the USP 45 is 1.9 with an empty mag. The USP 9 would be lighter than the 40, I think. Couldn't find anything about the compacts or trigger pulls.

From my experience, the trigger pulls are silky smooth. Yeah, USP 9 is my next gun. :D

SA triggers are nice, but DA triggers leave something to be desired.
For me, the DA trigger pull is meaningless, b/c I use them cocked and locked.

According to the '04 catalog...

USP45 - 1.74 lbs
USP40 - 1.66 lbs
USP9 - 1.65 lbs

These are wts unloaded w/o magazine.

Weight of USP

I have the specs for the P2000 in my owners manual and I would think the USP would be close in weight to the P2000..

9 mm P2000 Weight with empty 10 rd magazine 25 OZ.
Weight of empty 10 rd magazine 3 OZ.

Weight of 40. S&W P2000 is 27 OZ. with 10 rd magazine

I have read many gun mags on the P2000 who all claim the weight is less than what my manual states.....drf
