Hk Usp ??

I have an H&K usp 9mm an finally took it out shooting again, the other day. I brought it back home and the weirdest thing happened. The front sight white dot came out or off. Not the whole sight just the white dot. They are the factory sights 3dot. I have no idea how or what made this happened. Has this ever happened to you? I can not take a good picture of it right now to explain it well.

I would give HK a call. I am sure they will remedy it. Is it a sticker or perhaps the paint chipped off? This is my guess.

That happens a lot - it seems to be common for HKs - which sucks, considering how much they cost. My local shop has a USP to rent - and the dot on the front sight is gone.

It happened to me on my USPc on 1 side of the rear site.

I used some Testor's model paint and fixed it. Looks great. Make sure U have some of the testor's paint remover stuff too - it took me 2 tried to get it done w/o going outside of the dot depression.

Unfortunately, that's the only fix. Even if HK is willing to replace it - is that worth U paying $50 to ship the gun to them.

Either get new sites installed, or pay $2-3 and paint it.

HK uses a plastic insert.
Get an insert or make your own. I had seen mine move out and staked them back in.
