I recently chrono'd some rounds from my USP45, and thought I'd share...

WARNING: Some of this data is above book. Use at your own risk!

The gun is a USP45, 4.41" barrel. Temp was about 75f. Mixed brass, 230gr Montana Gold FMJ bullets, OAL of 1.255".

AA No. 5
7.5gr 687.2 FPS 158.1 PF
7.7gr 729.2 FPS 167.7 PF - nice load, makes major.
8.0gr 765.1 FPS 176.0 PF
8.5gr 837.9 FPS 192.7 PF
8.7gr 850.3 FPS 195.6 PF - book max.
9.0gr 861.2 FPS 198.1 PF - Above book max, no pressure signs.
At 8.5gr and below there was some unburned powder/granular residue in the barrel. Fairly clean otherwise, especially the hotter loads. No functional problems. Good powder for full power loads.

Titegroup
4.2gr 643.1 FPS 147.9 PF - ultra soft.
4.4gr 674.9 FPS 155.2 PF
4.6gr 716.4 FPS 164.8 PF - light, consistent
4.8gr 744.6 FPS 171.3 PF - book max.
5.0gr 768.7 FPS 176.8 PF - Above book max, no pressure signs.
Titegroup is a little sooty, but it wipes right off. Very consistent strings. 4.7gr should make a great match load, soft and accurate, making major.

Clays
4.0gr 702.1 FPS 161.5 PF - book max, clean, soft, very nice.
4.2gr 710.2 FPS 163.3 PF - Above book max, clean, soft.
4.4gr 753.0 FPS 173.2 PF - Above max, still clean & soft, no pressure signs.
Clays is a very fast powder, and caution is recommended, especially with heavy 230gr bullets. 4.3gr should make an awesome match round - clean, consistent, low recoil, and make major. I'll probably switch to 200gr bullets when I'm done with this case, and I'm debating between Clays and Titegroup for my match/plinking powder. Titegroup works better in .40, but damn, Clays is so nice and so clean for light/midrange .45...

I also chrono'd some of my duty ammo, Speer 200gr +p GD.
1011.2 FPS 202.2 PF - no pressure signs, softer than one would expect.

Last, some Winchester White Box 230gr.
801.3 FPS 184.3 PF

All are 10 shot string averages. I'm too lazy to figure up the standard deviation and stuff, but no crazy strings were recorded.
