Guns and stuff has HK91s for $449.00 assembled with a Century Arms reciever. I know its really hit and miss with the cetme's and these are probably the same receiver as on the Cetme. Is this to much of a gamble?
I've wrestled with the same question. I finally decided it was just too much of a gamble. I'm giving some thought to a PTR-91 for a little more $. Info is at this address:
I have a Century G3 clone that I bought last August. So far it's only been to the range once but it digested 100 rounds of FNM and Aussie ball with nary a hiccup.
Century's big problem is quality control. So, do some research on the gun you're planning to get and then hand pick it. By doing so you can mostly avoid drunken monkey syndrome.
