Alright, I can't help myself...I have to say something here.
There's a lot of this going around lately. Trying to shoot .45 GAP in a .45 ACP gun.
Am I the only one that thinks this is nuts?
In reloading, you ALWAYS follow the book. In shooting in general, the four rules are GOSPEL. Yet, folks want to purposely shoot a cartridge that wasn't meant for their gun.
If you knowingly try to shoot a cartridge that wasn't meant for your gun, you deserve it to blow up.
And the questions still remains...why? When you can shoot a regular .45 ACP +P that has the same ballistics, why chance it?
The Speer spec sheet for a .45 GAP shows the 200 grn bullet at 950 fps. You want velocity, shoot Cor-bon in the caliber your gun was made for.
I sure hope I'm not standing next to the idiot that tries this.
esheato out....
