LAKE FOREST, Ill. -- A hoard of 87 firearms was confiscated Thursday in a raid on a Lake Forest man's home, according to a report in the Chicago Tribune.
Citing police sources, the Tribune reported that the multimillion-dollar home is owned by a commodities trader. A man is in custody.
A state police spokesman told the Tribune that the weapons included two .50-caliber guns mounted on tripods. The 5,000 square-foot raided home is in the 1900 block of Telegraph Road, according to the Tribune.
The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives worked with Illinois state police to conduct the raid, according to the report.
