The new site works well in Chrome on an android phone. Not sure how I feel about the new format, it's obviously been heavily optimized for use on mobile devices.

I am not having the difficulties you are having. I find the new format a great improvement. That was with Firefox.
I just went back and tried IE and it worked fine there too. It will allow you to select multiple bullet weights and multiple powders and lines the results in a column for easy comparison. Also, you don't have to do multiple page refreshes to get to the end results like you did on the old site. Good-to-go.

That was it mdm, cleared out the cache and now I get the new page. I've only tried it on my Window 8 box with firefox. So far I like being able to limit the number of bullet weights.

If they fix the print "preview" part so I don't have to print it to see it, I can live with it.

Am I doing something wrong? When I click on the pistol tab rifle and pistol calibers show up. When I click on the rifle tab only rifle cartridges show up.

For example:

When I click on the pistol tab and select 30-06. I get different load information than when I am under the rifle tab. That makes sense it would be different. I could see that being a problem if you don't pay attention to which tab you are under, pistol or rifle.

Now please disregard this if there are pistols in these more common rifle calibers. I know some people will try to do all kinds of wild calibers in different types of guns. I have never heard of 243 win., 270 win., 30-30, 30-06, etc. in pistol cartridges.

I did a google search on these calibers and came up with no information in pistol calibers.

I have been reloading for many years but maybe I can just learned some new things about different pistol calibers. I am never to old to learn. Please enlighten me if these are pistol calibers.

For those that keep sayin' it's workin just fine....where did you go to find what primer they are using?

Never mind.....I see today they have updated it and that info is now available without even using the print view feature. Kewl!

They list those "rifle" calibers in the handgun data because of guns like Thompson Contenders which are technically pistols but they have something like 14" barrels and many aren't chambered in "pistol" calibers.

Dont like it, maybe I will get used to it. It's just a blown up real big version of the old one. I kind of liked seeing all the data together... Pretty fancy schmancy though, much more up to date looking.

The site works on my kindle using the silk browser but no print option just email option is there for me. Now since my laptop computer's hard drive is down and has been for awhile I need someone that is using a device that accepts cookies to try something to see if it works. If it does work those who liked the old site better will have an option to use it. Go here and test it and let's me and everyone else know if it worked or not. Thanks

The web archive site doesn't get me to the old format for the data. It just reloads the warning page when I click 'I Agree'. Nice idea, though. Maybe it'll work for somebody else...

(running chrome on WIN7)

Same result for me.

I hope they finish putting all the data on the new site soon. I sent them a message about it but so far they haven't replied.
