i'm going to load up some 223 today. I just looked at the Hodgen website for info on a 223 load with H335 and a 55gr. fmj bullet. Below is a cut and paste pic of what they show on the site. I cannot figure out what a Sfire bullet is. they do not show a FMJ load. I have several other manuals I will check with for load data but can anyone tell me what bullet they are referring to?

I'm surprised that they do not have a FMJ recipe

Thanks for the info......I have never seen frangible bullets for sale for reloading.

Steve thanks, that is waht I was going to go with. I got out to the shop and found some 50gr. TNT from Speer that I did first with 26.0 grns. I'll be back out there in a few minutes and gonna run a load of 55 FMJ.

Is a slight taper crimp ok on this load or should I roll into the cantilever?

Don't roll crimp a 223 round. If you crimp at all, do a taper or collet die crimp. No crimp is usually needed though.
