Does anyone have any experience or knowledge about the Hogue rifle stock with the full length bedding block? Their pillar bedded stock has too much flex in the fore end, and I'm hoping the bedding block extending into the fore end takes care of that problem. Thanks for any info.

I've had a couple of rifles that came with the stock. I got rid if them ASAP and replaced them with better quality stocks. They shoot as well as any other stock but the Hogues ergonomics stink and they weigh a ton. I lost as much as 2 lbs of rifle weight when changing.

For about the same money or less a B&C Medalist is a far better stock if you are working on a budget. If you really want a good stock save your money for a McMillan Edge.

I would like to add that the Hogue is not fun to shoot in the larger calibers. Your cheek adhires to the rubber. If you have a range session be sure to take some talcum powder.

Thanks guys, I'll order a H-S Precision stock as I've been very happy with them. Was curious about the Hogue.
