My wife is in the process of obtaining her CCW. After trying out various guns, she ended up buying a Ruger sp101 with the 2 1/4 in barrel. What are some good options for carry? What works and what should be avoided? Any help would be appreciated.

I have a Mitch Rosen vertical holster for the SP101 made for a woman. There is a relief with the barrel slightly canted forward to accomodate for the higher ride of a woman's pelvis. It works so well that I actually wear it, so the saying, "made for a woman, but good enough for a man" is just right for this holster. There is no thumbsnap, but it is a snug and comfortable rig. I paid $25 on a close-out on it at a bargain table. Mitchrosen leathers web site whould have more info.
