I'm condensing this information and passing it along so others won't (hopefully) have to fight the same battle I have just gone through while trying to find a holster.

Older model .40 S&W Taurus Millennium (not pro) is called the PT-140.
Newer model .40 S&W Taurus Millennium Pro is ALSO called the PT-140.

Holsters for one do NOT fit the other as the frame was changed.

If you have the newer .40 S&W Taurus Millennium Pro, look at holsters for the PT-145. They share the same frame and the holsters will fit.

What the bloody :cuss: Taurus? If you are going to change the gun then change the damned model number!

Yeah, I know what you mean. However, search ebay for "pt140" and you should find a holster or two that'll work. Just verify with the seller that you need it to fit the PRO version. That's how I got my DeSantis holster for my PT-111PRO

Thought I'd add an update. Don Hume holsters for the Sig 229 also fit the Taurus Millennium pro nicely. The holster is a touch long off the barrel but holds the gun very nicely.

Apparently most (though not all) leather SIG 229 holsters will fit the Millennium Pro. Haven't used any kydex ones yet to check them.

Okay, I've also heard pt145 holsters will work with Millennium Pro 9mms. Can anyone confirm that? Or what other holsters (such as Sig 229 etc) will work with the 9mm Millennium Pro?

bad frames

Taurus has went through a few versions of the PT140 due to frames cracking. They had the PT140, then the millium, then the Pro. They keep attempting to build a stonger frame, and changing the dimensions in the process. This is why so many holster makers wont touch it. Also the 9mm PT111 holsters do not fit the 40 S&W PT140, so each one needs its own mold for the correct fit. :banghead:

Choose wisely.
