The prices seem almost too good to be true- and you know the old adage!

I suspect those are some of the infamous "Made in Mexico" rigs that are low quality and have that "special" tanning. I'd recommend looking elsewhere. Go to www.sassnet.com and click on the "links" - there you'll find a number of western gunleather makers for a reasonable price. I also make cowboy rigs. Here's a sample of one I did recently:
