Hey everybody. I just picked up a set of LPA TTF fiber optic adjustable sights yesterday. They seem very nice, but I noticed that the front sight is too tall for my cheap Fobus paddle holster. Can anyone recommend a kydex/plastic holster with a high front sight clearance. If its IDPA OK, that would be even better. Thanks.

Well, I had the same sights when they were prototypes.....for some reason the guys at LPA thought running alot of +P+ ammo was a real test for there sights! :D
They took it...........anyway. My Uncle Mikes (no comments for the holster maker, please!!!!!!! ) Paddle worked with them.
Shoot well..........

Thank you very much. The fact that an inexpensive holster will work is an extra plus. I've been shooting with a Fobus for the last year--and been very happy--so you won't hear any holster snobbery from me.

One more question, I didn't know that Uncle Mike did holsters for the CZ, and they don't have an CZ specific models on the web site. What model did you use? The one for the Beretta? Thanks.

EAA Witness/CZ75 is what mine said.....hell I bought mine in a holster bin at a local gun shop for 5$......so I dont even know if they make them anymore.
Call them and see what they say........most EVERYONE makes stuff for CZ's now.
Shoot well.

Thanks again PCRCCW, I really appreciate the help.

BTW, if anyone else is interested. The Blade-Tech for the CZ 75B has enough room to clear the front sight, but I tried two at the store today, and neither would firmly retain my 75BD. Uncle Mike's kydex for the Beretta 92/96 doesn't fit either: won't fix past the slide release. I've emailed UNcle Mike about kydex for the CZ. I'm thinking of ordering the Cen-Dex, as I've heard great things.

On a more positive note, the sights are very bright and make it very easy to focus on the front sight.

No worries......glad to help. They are great sights...put them on my first custom CZ SA. Very very bright......I sold it, didnt make a good CCW :D

Cen-dex can make it easily....just call them and tell them to make you a good 3/8" sight rail/track for Comp. sights and they shouldnt have a problem doing it.
Hell I can do it with leather, they can do it with Kydex............

Shoot well........
