After getting my CHL here in Texas last year, I decided on a KAHR P9 for concealed carry. Sweet little rascal..but I'm having a bad "printing" problem and would appreciate any input.

When I purchased the weapon I also got a leather Bianchi Holster (particular model made just for the small frame KAHR) that prints badly. No matter how tight I wear my belt, the printing is obvious. At about $60+ I'd expected more.

I watch a lot of TV and some of the on the hip OWB holsters I see look like they actually force a tight fight against the body.

I need to eliminate this problem and would appreciate any input as to a solution. I wouldn't be against an IWB if anyone has some +'s for that route. As long as I'm posting..any thoughts on a holster for a S&W .357 model 65-3 "K" frame?

Many Thanks!

Not real familiar w/ bianchi holsters but that gun should hide easy under any medium weight fabric. A polo shirt, vest, or a quality cotton shirt. I like my square tail shirts ironed. As far as IWB, that is what I wear. Comp-Tac Gurkha & I am sitting at the computer w/ it on & a full size Springer 1911. The smallest gun I have for primary carry is a Commander length Kimber Pro. These both cover easy in these holsters. For Kydex I think Comp-Tac has the rest beat hands down. Many like the CTAC. I tried one but didn't. The Gurkha & the Undercover Pro are more comfortable to me. For leather I believe any of the major makers are good. You might PM rockrivr1 & ask him what he uses. He pocket carries a P9.

I carry a P99 in a Blade-Tech IWB. The only problems I have are when bending over, I try to bend my knees not my back. In my experience IWB is much easier to conceal than OWB.

Check out Fist Holsters. They mfg. leather and Kydex holsters. I bought their
Kydex J Hook inside the waist holster for $35.00 and am very pleased. It holds my Kahr PM9 nice and snug and it really does not print! Extremely thin.

Thanks For The Info

I really appreciate the input! Looks like my problem is solved thanks to your posts.

IWB may take some getting use to, but that's how I'm going to play it! I'll save the Bianchi for Winter when I can wear coats and jackets.

Thanks Again!

Your problem could be your belt. What sort of belt are you wearing? I just got a double-thick, 1.5" wide bull hide from www.thebeltman.net for $60. Best belt I've ever worn. Kicks my old Filson 1.5" belt's butt. Holds the gun much closer to my body and I can keep the belt looser around my waist for comfort.
