I am looking to pick up a gen 5 G19. What are your recommendations for quality holsters. I am thinking that I would like a Kydex OWB holster and magazine pouches for range/general purpose use. Additionally, I am also looking for IWB recommendations whether they be Kydex, leather, etc. Thanks.

Black Point Tactical. The Leather Wing holster can be configured for OWB or IWB. The Mini Wing is purely an IWB option, They also have awesome mag pouches. I recommend the MAP system.

No experience with Kydex OWB holsters, but for IWB my favorite is the N82 Pro model. Its got a hard plastic holster, single belt clip, and neoprene backer pad. Its the most comfortable IWB holster I've ever worn.

A local self defense instructor has designed a OWB that I really like. He calls it "high rise", it is kydex. The lowest part of it is near the bottom of your belt. There is no cant, its straight up and down. The designer says a cant is a hinderance because more movement is required to get the gun on target. The gun is accessible from nearly every position even while buckled up driving. The first time I saw him wearing it I thought "that looks like it would work". Each holster is made to order and I'm not sure he would even ship one. Mine is for a Ruger LC9 Pro and is much smaller than in the pic below. The price is $55
I own literally dzs of holsters. I like this one the best

Blackpoint Tactical Leather Wing for the OWB, Blackpoint Tactical Mini-Wing for the IWB. for mag pouches, go for Blackpoint Tactical MAP (Modular Accessory Pouches).

For a range holster, Fabus are inexpensive and durable. Paddle holsters are very convenient on the range and around home.
IWB, can't beat Crossbreed Supertuck with horsehide.

Spend as much money as you want, but I haven't found anything significantly better than the Glock factory holsters

If you have multiple guns this works very well. The same holster works VERY well with multiple guns. I can use it with all of my Glocks, M&P,s Ruger,s and my Sig 226. It is actually a pretty good holster.

They make an IWB version of it. But I've not tried it yet.

I have a Raven Concealment. The Eidolon model. Carries appendix very well. Also works well enough 4 o’clock.

I also really like the Raven trigger guard “holsters” with belt loops or hooks. Very comfortable and no extra anything in the way, but you can’t reholster without removing the holster.

For OWB I’ve also got a Raven Phantom.

It’s not that I’m a huge Raven fanboy, they’re just the first one I tried that worked well enough to stop looking.

My first Kydex holster was a Raven C for my 1911 but they have changed and no longer offer anything for a 45. My first holster for my Glock 30S was a Glock and it works ok but not great because it is designed to be ambidextrous and does not conceal well.

I’ll throw in another vote for bravo concealment. They have a two pack on amazon for $80 where you get an iwb torsion, which works ok, and the bca owb which is great.

The torsion is a straight drop designed for appendix position, but works better for me about 330. I tested out the bca with the pancake loops but it actually works better for me with the normal loops.

I use mine with a G19 gen 3.
