I don't pocket mine unless it is in a coat pocket with sufficient "stuff" in the other to counterbalance out the revolver's weight. The ony gun I pocket carry is a Pico .380, and that's in my back pocket.
I's also not an IWB fan. I never could get used to it, so that leaves me OWB. My holster of choice for the LCR (and any snubbie, really) is the Minimal Revolver Holster Kit that Tandy used to sell. I dabble in leather work, so $20 and 2 hours of my time to tool, wet mold, and dye to come up with a quality holster was well worth it.
I like the minimal holster because it is pancake style, so I can either wear it on my back hip around 4:30/5 o'clock or scooch it up as more of an OWB appendix position of carry. The holster has no straps or snaps to get in the way and is held tight to my body with a good snug belt. Also, the barrel of the gun just barely peeks out the bottom, so it stays plenty protected. However it is nice that I can slip my SP101s in there in a pinch, even the one with the 4" barrel.
For me, the LCR with the minimal pancake holster makes for the best compromise of concealed carry. I'm going to a small office gathering downtown this evening. Most folks there are not keen on guns, but I'm not strolling through a questionable area armed with nothing but my smile. The LCR at 2 o clock with a warm sweater thrown over it...no one will know its there.
