I think Im gonna make a big copy of this and hang it on the wall here at my work. However seeing how I work Seattle that may not go over well.

Is that a 14" bbl? I can't tell.

Sure does look short. Would want to be in front of it. Probably why you see the perp from the shoulder up. Center of mass hit with that thing probably cut him in two.:what: I always enjoy these posters.

Oleg,

I am amazed at the wide angle shot without distortion and the depth-of-field. I don't know much about photography, but I do know that must have been difficult and/or expensive.

In other words, Great Work.

Excellent concept, as usual!

Grammatically, it really needs the article "A" before "gun."

I'm not really good at these things, but the white skirt seems to blend into the curtains over the door and make the girl's lower half disappear. Can you change the skirt color to fix this?

Keep up the great work.

Now that's Nice!!!

I'm still taking photos of rocks to see if I can make them look like, well,,,, a rock. LOL!!!

The shotgun is a Remington 870 Express Magnum SBS, with a factory 14" bbl.

The perp is a rather unsavory individual, who should have known better than bringing a knife to a gunfight.

The lady is a very intelligent woman; a former soldier turned horticulturist / future botanist. She's got great taste in guns. Her preferred handgun: a Para-Ordnance 14/45 LDA! Her taste in men is a little more questionable: she spends an awful lot of time associating with guys like me. Although, to her credit, she does allow Oleg to come over and take pictures.

Frank,

ROTFL! You really should do stand-up comedy...last night, I was laughing so hard I could barely point the camera.

Oleg , Frank, knock it off will ya? :p

My money is on the lady in the poster keeping both you guys in line. :D

Ma'am thank you for your service, best of luck on future pursuits.

Oh...about durn time Oleg did a poster with a Wood & Blue shotgun...
Thanks Oleg!
:)

If you put the article "A" in front of "gun," then you would need to put "the" in front of "cops." Personally, I think it sounds better the way you currently have it. After all, it's a slogan, not a complete sentence.

very nice work Oleg!

Agree, and I'd take it a step further:

Gun in hand
Beats cops on phone

Better rhythm that way.

Spent shell...

Looks quite good, Oleg. Although I would like to see a spent shotshell on the floor somewhere...

Gives me an idea for another photo possibility. How about one focusing on (3) things... a spent shotshell, a knife and a (now immobilized) aggressor hand?

My 3 cents worth...

BTW, how's that 5D?? Are you lovin' it??

Actually, this isn't true. The use of the indefinite article before the subject does not necessitate the use of the definite article before the object. In fact, I think the use of the definite article before "cops" would actually make the sentence unclear and thereby less effective.

As for the color issue, Oleg--you're the artist. I admit I'm no expert on those kinds of things.
