Not sure if this has been discussed before........if it has, then you all have my apologies. Long story short, a guy couldn't put two holes in the wall to install his satellite TV system, so he used his handgun and shot the holes in the wall. The second round penetrated the wall, and hit his wife, killing her, while she was standing in the yard.

I know that a gun is a tool, but I'm just wondering if there is any rationale behind using a gun for home improvement. It seems to me that it's just an accident waiting to happen when using a gun for work around the house (not self-defence work). And wouldn't his actions be violating the rule of knowing what's beyond the target? Thank you for your thoughts on the issue.
